Free School Meal Update

The government have now announced that vouchers can be issued for the school holiday last week. We are therefore uploading a further voucher request for the two weeks ending 5 June 2020. I anticipate these voucher codes will be in your inbox by the end of the week.

We have noticed that some voucher codes are still appearing to be live and we have therefore reissued these today. When you receive your voucher code you will need to redeem this at www.freeschoolmeals.co.uk at which point you can choose which supermarket you would like your voucher for. Please be careful that you enter the correct email address.

If you are eligible for free school meals and would like to receive FSM vouchers, please email finance@elms.kent.sch.uk with your details and arrangements will be made to issue you with voucher codes.

If you have not applied for FSM and are not sure if your child is eligible, please can I encourage you to apply at https://www.kent.gov.uk/education-and-children/schools/free-school-meals. Please apply even if you wish your child to have packed lunch. This will ensure that the school receive the appropriate funding. You will usually receive a response within 24 hours if you are eligible. Please then email finance@elms.kent.sch.uk confirming your eligibility and if you wish to receive vouchers.
